Who knows that when buying gift cards in Amarillo has a headache?

Speaking of Christmas shopping, I am very simple. It's not that I don't care. I know my family and friends. This is usually a time limit. I know what my family likes. To be honest, my daughter, like many people, likes and asks for gift cards.

I believe that many people on your gift list really like gift cards. You can pick exactly what you want.

One of the things my daughter asked for was gift cards from different fast food restaurants. As a new mother, she can indeed help her get dinner by herself. Oh, paying money definitely helps.

When I buy gifts for my friends locally, I do try to buy a local gift card, so this is not a problem. Because my whole family lives outside the city, I have to find a card that can be used elsewhere. This is where I am having trouble.

One day, I went to Walgreens and picked a gift card for my mother’s birthday. This is not even during the Christmas period. I bought her an Amazon gift card because she lives in Phoenix again.

They told me that I must use a debit card or cash to buy. I understand this rule, if I hadn't used my credit card there a week ago to buy some gift cards for my daughter. So I told them that I would leave and go to Market Street. I bought some food and the $50 Amazon gift card with a credit card.

There is no problem at all. Then I decided to return to Walgreens in a few days and get two fast food gift cards. I want to test their "policy". I took my credit card and went to another cashier. There is no problem. So frustratingly, it depends on where you go and which cashier you are with.

I see. It's Christmas, and stolen credit cards may be a problem. do you know? My debit card is easily stolen. Someone can also steal my cash. I don’t see any chains selling gift cards that would be harmed by my gift cards that were worth between US$25 and US$50 last month. I even know that I'm just a person, and it can add up quickly. This is just the price of doing business. I also know that these big chains have insurance.

Usually this is my only payment method. If I don’t have a wallet. However, more importantly, I like to accumulate as many bonus points as possible.

What bothers me is that I went to Walmart this weekend to buy all the gift cards for my daughter and her boyfriend. I bought a gift card for more than $300 with a credit card without any problems. I did the same thing at Walgreens last year, no problem.

Has anyone else refused to purchase a gift card because of the use of a credit card? I just need to know.
