TrustedHousesitters is the largest and most trusted vacation pet boarding community of its kind. It is hosting a shelter pet holiday toy event in Little Italy Dog Park. The toy drive will benefit shelter dogs from local rescues. The Animal Pad (TAP), a 100% volunteer-based local non-profit full-breed dog rescue, focuses on high-mortality shelters and the streets of Mexico To rescue the dog.

The event will be hosted by TrustedHousesitters and Dogs on Instagram in the Little Italy Dog Park from 10 am to 2 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring new unpackaged dog toys to the event, and will receive pet holiday cartoons from Marco, free snacks donated by The Great Pet Shop, and sweepstakes, including the chance to win the annual premium membership of TrustedHousesitters.

Little Italy has more than 3,000 puppies, many of which are responsible for helping pets, and its historic dog park is a must-visit for all pet owners. The park is a safe and enclosed space where dogs can play freely and meet other dogs nearby. It also provides shade for pet owners, including community-sponsored benches, well-maintained surfaces, and delicious coffee from Caffe Caritazza.
