OCEAN PINES, Maryland-Friday is National Cat Day, but not all cats in Delmarva must celebrate. Pip the Beach Cat's Kitten Emporium is now open, filled with cat toys and snacks. 

Pip The Beach Cat is known for playing arcade games and playing on the beaches and boardwalks of Ocean City.

"Because of COVD, we can't do these things as usual this year, and we can't stand it a bit," said Pip's mother and shopkeeper Emily Meadows (Emily Meadows). 

These adventures are now lined up on the walls of the Kitten Emporium, as well as photos of Pip's interview with WRDE a few years ago.

After the ribbon was cut on Thursday night, the store is now the center of the Pip series of books, every toy of cats’ craziest dreams, and freshly grown cat grass. Through the grand opening party on Sunday, you will also find human-friendly hospitality, Pip coloring pages, and “Shrinky Dinks” activities.

"Friday, Saturday and Sunday, your shopping experience will be satisfied," Meadows said. "We have food, drinks and activities in the back."

Only on the opening weekend, you will get a prize for every purchase. After checkout, you only need to arrive in the box next to the cash register, and the colored balls you choose will determine the prizes you win. The shopping assistant will help you view the products that are running. You can help them find a home forever.

"We have Pip's foster fund, and people can donate to it," Meadows said. "We have a small cash jar in the store. Everything is used directly for healthcare and things like that, but yes, the store gives us capacity and space. When people call and say oh, I can always see yes A kitten was found."

Use the cat clip made by Yeowww! You may feel a bit "stingy" if you are there to greet you with a cutie like Walnut. If you are lucky, you can even get a high five from the people behind you.

Pip The Beach Cat's Kitten Emporium is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 6 pm Meadows said they plan to host Thanksgiving parties and promotions on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
