Dogs currently waiting for a forever home at South Hills Pet Rescue woke up to a special surprise on Christmas morning.

Cheryl McClearan, of South Hills Pet Rescue, said its become an annual tradition to provide stockings for the dogs.

"When they put the stockings up there last night, they were so excited," McClearan said. "They were sniffing their stockings to see what was in there."
