Adele's "30" ranked first on the Billboard 200 for the third consecutive week – Billboard

Adele's 30 ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart for the third consecutive week. According to data from MRC Data, the series received 193,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending December 9 (a decrease of 33% compared to the previous week).

30 is still a strong performer because it’s the biggest third week of any album in more than three years, because Drake’s No. 1 Scorpion won in the third frame (the chart date is July 28, 2018) 260,000.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Polo G’s former Hall of Fame No. 1 returned to the top 10 with a score of 69-3 after its re-release on December 3, and provided 14 additional tracks, while Vince ·The animated TV soundtrack special of the Guaraldi Trio, Charlie Brown, hit a new high for Christmas, rising 10-9.

The Billboard 200 ranking ranks the most popular albums in the United States this week based on multi-index consumption measured in equivalent album units. Units include album sales, track equivalent album (TEA) and streaming equivalent album (SEA). Each unit is equal to an album sales, or 10 singles sold in an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams, generated from the songs in the album. The new chart dated December 18, 2021 (30 of them ranked first in the third week) will be published in full on the bulletin board website on December 14. In the week ending December 2nd, among the 30 193,000 equivalent album units acquired in the United States, album sales included 149,000 (a decrease of 34%), and SEA units included 43,000 (a decrease of 29%, equivalent to 57.87 million of the series’ tracks On-demand streaming) and TEA units are less than 2,000 units (decreased by 24%).

Taylor Swift's previous number, Red (Taylor's Version), ranked second with 80,000 equivalent album sales (down 22%).

After the Polo G's top ranking Hall of Fame was re-released on December 3, it rose to the top 10 with a score of 69-3 and added 14 additional bonus tracks. The album received 78,000 equivalent album units (468% increase) in the most recent tracking week, almost all from streaming activities. In this week’s total play volume, SEA units contained 76,000 (an increase of 461%, which is equivalent to 110.34 million on-demand streams of 34 tracks in the series).

Despite the increase in activity, Michael Bublé's top chart Christmas still dropped by a score of 3-4, as it won 60,000 equivalent album units this week (a 3% increase). The latest tracking week includes the Christmas premiere of Bublé’s newest NBC TV special, Michael Bublé, in the city on December 6.

Olivia Rodrigo's former No. 1 Sour dropped by a score of 4-5 and received 51,000 equivalent album units (a 5% increase), and Morgan Wallen's former leader Dangerous: The Double Album with 48,000 units (a 6% increase) Ranked 6th, and Drake's first certified lover boy fell 5-7 to 47,000 units (down 3%).

Mariah Carey's 1994 evergreen album "Merry Christmas" rose by a score of 14-8, garnering 40,000 equivalent album units (a 20% increase). This album contains her seasonal hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You", which ranked No. 3 on the date chart on December 17, 1994. In the past four holidays, Merry Christmas has returned to the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Vince Guarardi’s "Charlie Brown Christmas" soundtrack hit a new high, climbing 10-9, surpassing the previous 10th place. The album received 39,000 equivalent album units in the week ending December 9th (a 9% increase).

Charlie Brown was released for Christmas in 1965 and did not reach any bulletin board rankings until 1987. That year, it debuted on the best holiday album rankings, and later reached No. 2 on the rankings (January 27, 2007). The album entered the top 10 for the first time on the Billboard 200 list on January 2, 2021, when it peaked at number 10.

Doja Cat's Planet Her ranked in the top 10 with 39,000 equivalent album units (an increase of 12%), up 12-10 places.
